  3. 1 – Background Desktops, laptops, tablets There are 108 million of computers worldwide (Desktop, laptops, netbooks and tablets) That means a growth of 11,7 % (over 2.011) Apple is the first manufacturer with 20% of market share (after big success of iPad the last quarter)

  4. 1 – Background Smartphones (First quarter 2.012) Samsung place 20 million Galaxy S3 in the market Samsung sells up to 44,5 million smartphones Apple sold 35,1 million smartphones Smartphone sales grow 43% despite the crisis Total of smartphones sold: 110 million

  5. 1 – Background Smartphones in Europe 55,2 % of mobiles in Spain are smartphones (1st in Europe). In Italy, 43,7 % are smartphones (4th in Europe). European average is 47,6 %. There are more smartphones than computers and growing faster
