2. A LEADER WE CAN BELIEVE IN? After all the double talk from the “Straight Talk” candidate. Does he really believe that he is the leader we can believe in? This is the highest honor and the most important job this country has to offer. After looking at his resume’, do you think he’s qualified to do the job? Would you hire him to work for you? Think about that before you vote, because that is exactly what you will be doing.

3. BORN WITH A SILVER SPOON!Who’s The Elitist? He calls you “my friend” and says he knows how you feel. Does he really? This is John McCain, whose father was an Admiral and who’s mother came from an oil rich family, so rich that she went out to by a dress and came home with a new Mercedes instead? The family laughed because it was “typical” of her. This is John McCain who is married to a multi-millionaire? You know the one that jet sets around the world with him and helps fund his campaigns and who benefits from “free trade”? This is John McCain who was an officer where ”rank has it’s privileges”? This is also the same John McCain who had to be told by a woman in the groceries store that milk was the highest it’s ever been because he didn’t know. Showing the American public, on the news, that he is out of touch with the average person. This is John McCain, who owns 10 Personal Residences in the US. each home priced at over $1 MILLION dollars.

4. FAMILY HISTORY Maternal Grandfather: Archibald “Arch” Wright. McCain says, not much is known about him other than he was a “strong willed oil wildcatter. Not True: Dec 1908- Ada, Oklahoma Newspaper article Arch Wright was given a jail sentence for running an illegal gambling salon. He got caught and he agreed to close down. Only instead he made it appear that the building was shut down and had other entrances to the building so they could continue to gamble. He was raided again and 15 were arrested. Arch Wright bartered for land with gold coins and liquor in Oklahoma at the time when Native Americans were being given their lands. He always showed up with land deeds, but no proof of how he acquired them. He in turn sold the land for large profits. He also made a large portion of his money from liquor and oil. He paid large fines ($13,000) in cash without even blinking. “He stood out in a town full of rascals”, the paper quoted. His daughter Roberta McCain (John’s mother) was forbidden to marry John McCain, Jr., but being “cantankerous” herself, she and John went to a bar named Caesar's in Tijuana, Mexico and got married. John McCain has proven that the apple didn’t fall far from his maternal tree. Cantankerous and working around the laws to get what he wants.

5. FAMILY LOYALTY - MORAL VALUE? INFIDELITY: In the Naval Academy, McCain was known as a “ladies man”. John McCain proved that even while he was married to his 1st wife, Carol Shepp before heading to Vietnam. He was unfaithful to her before and during their marriage. Left her and married his mistress. While married to his 2nd wife, Cindy Hensley, liquor heiress, he has been linked to another woman. ABANDONMENT:Moving on to a new wife and family, McCain estranged from his first wife, he was also estranged from his children. Moral Support: When Cindy McCain was suffering from drug addiction- he was to self absorbed to realize it (for 3 years). Then he says he knew nothing about it until “1 Year” after she had gone through rehab and legal battles.

6. OUT OF THE LOOP OR SELF ABSORBEDJOHN & CINDY MCCAIN Cindy McCain is a private woman, who refuses to show her income, keeps her income hers and files separately from John McCain. She has been outspoken about staying at home and not being a “Washington wife”. (1999) 1994: The possible future first lady, Cindy H. McCain, suffered from prescription drug addiction from 1989- 1992 (3 YEARS). After getting caught stealing drugs from her own organization, and As an agreement with the Justice Department, she spent time at a drug and alcohol rehab facility and is “suppose” to be attending Narcotics Anonymous meetings for the rest of her life. According to their story, John McCain knew absolutely nothing about it until a year after she had beat her addiction.Why? Where was this absentee husband? Or Was John McCain lying to protect his political career?

NOW HE WANTS TO PREDICT THE FUTURE----2013 AT THE AGE OF 71 YEARS OLD NOW- IF STILL LIVING, HE WILL BE 76 YEARS OLD IN 2013. • STILL SEES VIOLENCE IN IRAQ AND AFGHANISTAN • OSAMA BIN LADEN---DEAD OR CAPTURED • POLITICAL PARTISANSHIP • ILLELGAL IMMIGRANTS WORKER PROGRAM • SIMPLER FLAT TAX (AT WHOSE EXPENSE) • IRAQ WAR “WON” • MORE ACTIONABLE INTELLIGENCE (MORE EVES DROPPING,ETC) • HALT GENOCIDE IN DARFUR • MORE NUCLEAR REACTORS • HE SEES ROBUST GROWTH • MORE CHARTER SCHOOLS • EXPANDING PRIVATE MARKET HEALTH CARE WOULDN’T IT BE NICE TO KNOW EXACTLY WHAT THE FUTURE HOLDS. What about the price of gas, free trade, veterans benefits…maybe the 2nd term?

8. JOHN MCCAIN CRITICIZES BARACK OBAMA & HIS PASTOR But will not denounce Pastor John Hagee, an “influential” televangelist. Who called the Roman Catholic Church the “great whore” and the “apostate church” or mega church pastor, Rod Parsley of Ohio who criticized Islam. He needs the evangelical vote. So he can’t distance himself from Pastor Hagee or can he? Instead, Pastor Hagee apologizes for the remarks to make it all better. Does he really mean it or is it just another political move? In the past McCain has been sharply critical of Pat Robertson and Jerry Farwell. Not anymore!

9. PASTORS BECOME LIABILITY!GET RID OF THEM! John McCain denounces Pastor Hagee in public because he’s afraid he’ll be a liability. The Pastors themselves take back endorsements and hold services to make sure to keep their church on line for the Republican vote. What ever happened to “Separation of Church and State”? Should they be tax exempt? They are using their pulpit for politics! In private, his surrogate, Joe Lieberman who travels with McCain occasionally to meetings and continually helps John McCain gain support will be a guest speaker at a conference put on by Pastor Hagee in July 2008. Lie to the American people’s face and do what you want behind their back is quickly becoming the John McCain motto.

10. How do you denounce a minister when he’s being courted as a possible Vice President? Huckabee quips about gun aimed at Obama Republican Mike Huckabee responded to an off stage noise during his speech Friday to the National Rifle Association by suggesting it was Barack Obama diving to the floor because someone had aimed a gun at him. Huckabee has since tried to apologize by saying “I didn’t even know that I’d said that.” Was it a subconscious remark? Better known as a “slip of the lip”. How dangerous is that? Making remarks and then not remembering that you said them.

11. He says he doesn’t take money from special interests? McCain Advisors Lobbied for Europeans to Win Air Force Tanker Deal A co-chairman of Senator John McCain’s presidential campaign and other top campaign advisers and supporters were lobbyists for the European Aeronautic Defense and Space Company, part of a group that beat out Boeing for a $35 billion contract to build aerial refueling tankers for the Air Force. Mr. McCain’s relentless efforts to portray himself as an “opponent of influence peddling” in Washington, his close ties to lobbyists are certain to be a continuing issue through the presidential campaign. “I had nothing to do with the contract except to insist in writing on several occasions as this process went forward that it be fair and open and transparent.” Let’s be transparent, show the American people those “several” letters!

12. RALPH REED: CONSULTANT –FUNDRAISER FOR JOHN MCCAIN Ralph Reed, conservatives best connection to corporations used his credentials with the religious right to further his clients business agendas. Ralph Reed is also tied in to the Jack Abramoff scandal which is still under investigation for using influences to keep casino’s out of Texas and to secure the gambling for the Coushatta tribe of Louisiana. Reed’s connection to the Bush administration, his relationship with Karl Rove to be specific has been a value to Corporate America. Rove helped Reed land an Enron contract worth at least $300,000 to build support to “deregulate” energy. It seems Karl Rove has found his protégé. August 2008: Ralph Reed “the guy who gets it done” is holding a major fundraiser for John McCain. Has Ralph Reed found his George Bush?

13. UBS LOBBYIST- WROTE MCCAIN’S HOUSING POLICY Swiss Bank- UBS as recently as Dec 2007- disclosed that John McCain’s Co-Chair and former Texas Senator Rep. Phil Gramm was dealing specifically with legislation regarding the mortgage crisis. Even though Phil Gramm deregistered as a lobbyist in April of this year, he continues to serve as a UBS vice chairman. Basically, Phil Gramm was shaping McCain’s housing policy at the same time that he was lobbying for UBS. John McCain trying to fool the American people, had Phil Gramm step down as his economic advisor. Yet in the month of Aug 2008, he was a special guest and seated across from McCain at a fundraiser.

14. MCCAIN FOREIGN POLICY AIDE LOBBYING FOR GEORGIA The same day that the Lobbyist/Aide Randy Scheunemann arranged a call for John McCain and the president of Georgia, his firm signed a contract for $200,000 to continue providing strategic advice to the Georgian government in Washington. Ethically: Where do this lobbyists loyalties belong? The candidate or the foreign client? McCain’s aide says he seized his lobbying work for Georgia, but his firm Orion Strategies still continued to do work with Georgia and the aide did not “leave” the firm until McCain’s campaign “supposedly” imposed a tough- new anti lobbyist policy. McCain’s aide relied on his “access” to McCain in his work for foreign clients, making a total of 71 calls for his assistance in 2004 alone. Georgia has oil pipelines, get the picture?

Cost tax payers a record $2 billion dollars. • 1987: Helped Keating battle regulators • 1986: McCain’s wife, Cindy invested $359,000+ in a Keating shopping center • 1984-1986- McCain and his family took 9 vacation trips at Keating’s expense to the Keating’s retreat in the Bahamas (when he got caught, he paid it back.) • John McCain received generous donations ($112,000) to his campaign and causes from Keating. The Ethics Committee said, that John McCain used “poor judgment”.

17. NO ONE IS QUESTIONING JOHN MC CAIN’S PATRIOTISM. It is well known and well documented that McCain gave much for his country as a P.O.W. His training experience and temperament is what is in question. • He barely graduated from the Naval Academy (on the bottom 5). • 1967: He said “I had trouble with regimentation, I was on extra duty and always marching as punishment.” • During Keating 5: A friend, Wm. P. Cheshire, said he can be “imprudent, reckless, not as astute.” • McNasty, nickname earned in private boarding school for fighting. • While in the Navy-at pilot training school, he was almost kicked out but “favors” kept him in. Explaining why he was a terrible pilot and crashed several planes before his incident in Vietnam.

18. TORTURE- WE DON’T DO THAT! 2007: It was known that waterboarding was used on several “suspected” Al Qaeda prisoners. Nov 2007: John McCain says, “The United States does not use an interrogation technique known as waterboarding. I have been briefedenough to know that we are not doing that today anywhere in America’s government.” McCain contradicted himself in the same interview when he said, “The U.S. should not engage in torture and that there was no need for water-boarding.” “If you inflict enough physical pain on anybody, they will tell you anything you want to know.”So, would thatfall under torture? Jan 2008: Tasteless Joke; Asked about getting the endorsement of Gov. Charlie Crist. John McCain answered: “It was just waterboarding”.

(MAY 27, 2008) Like George Bush, he wants to continue tax cuts for the wealthy.It’s been proven for the last 7 ½ years that we, the average American have not benefited from those tax cuts. *John McCain voted against funding the saving of the Everglades, beaches and dams in Florida. Surprise: So did George Bush.

20. IRAQ WAR ABOUT OIL! May 3, 2008: John McCain in Denver Colorado “My friends, I will have an energy policy that we will be talking about, which will eliminate our dependence on oil from the Middle East that will prevent us from having ever to send our young men and women into conflict again in the Middle East.” Trying to correct his comment, “We fought the Gulf War for several reasons, one reason was Saddam Hussein’s invasion of Kuwait, but also we didn’t want him to have control over the oil.” COULD OIL BE THE REASON HE WANTS TO KEEP US IN IRAQ FOR 100 YEARS?

21. PHOTO –OP’S: HOW PERFECT IS THE PHOTO? What America didn’t see: In April of 2007-McCain made a visit to Baghdad toincrease his sinking poll numbers. He visited the Shorja market for a photo-op and to show the American people the progress in Baghdad and how “safe” it had become. In the month of February 2007, in only one attack- 61 people were killed. What no one saw was how he was wearing body armor, surrounded by heavily armored troops and security helicopters were hovering above. This is what you will continue to get from the “Straight Talk” candidate.

22. McCain’s Double Standard- on War Under George Bush, Sr. – McCain argued that we should not go into Somalia. But in the end he sided with his party and supported George Bush. Then Bill Clinton became the president and John McCain decided we should get out of Somalia. So much, that he spearheaded a bill that would cut funding to our troops in Somalia. The bill was “unsuccessful”. When he couldn’t cut funding, he took to the Senate Floor and gave a speech. He said that we should not keep our men and women in harms way, in Somalia because we feared chaos if we left. Fear of chaos was not a reason to stay. That there were groups like the United Nations that should take up the responsibility. Was he trying to “legislate” defeat then? The same reasoning can be used in Iraq, yet he refuses to budge.

23. OPPOSES VETERANS BENEFITS JOHN MCCAIN OPPOSES FULL FUNDING EDUCATION FOR WAR VETERANS. Many veterans will be coming home from war and will need formal training and education to compete in today’s business world. John McCain says it will cost too much money. $52 billion over 10 years. In less than 8 years, the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan are projected to have cost us $811 billion. This doesn’t include the billions of dollars $$$ spent in Iraq for rebuilding, etc. He thinks the war is worth it for the Iraqi people and we should stay there until it’s “won”. HIS VOTING RECORD SHOWS HE DOESN’T THINK AS MUCH OF OUR VETERANS.

24. ARE WE GOING TO BE ENTRENCHED IN WAR UNDER MCCAIN? TALKING TOUGH IS WHAT GOT THIS COUNTRY INTO THE SITUATION THAT IT’S IN. June 2007: On Cuba John McCain said, “I don’t think we can move militarily against a country just because they have a government we don’t like.” “As president, I will not passively await the long overdue demise of the Castro dictatorship.” McCain called Cuba “a national security threat”. 2006: John McCain was asked about American diplomats operating the way they have in the past, working with the Palestinian government if Hamas is now in charge? He said, “They’re the government, sooner or later we are going to have to deal with them one way or another…..but it’s a new reality in the Middle East. May 2008: “I Will Be Hamas’ Worst Nightmare”. More Tough Talk. Aug 2008: Russia v. Georgia: McCain’s tough talk is already putting the US at risk.

JOHN MC CAIN WANTS FREE TRADE!Pro-NAFTA, Pro-GATT, Pro-MFN, Pro-Fast track 1999: John McCain says, “It is in our best interest to maintain as open a border as possible with Mexico”. 2002: Democrats vote to delay opening boarders with Mexico for 2 years because of safety issues. McCain tries to block vote. 2004: Supports trade embargo against Cuba. Supports NAFTA. When asked if trade agreements should include provisions to addressenvironmental concerns and to protect workers rights. He said“NO”. June 2007:Even though he laughed and said about trading with Cuba, “I don’t know what we’d trade besides 1950’s vintage cars.” He later said that “Latin America is increasingly vital to fortunes of the United States.” FEB 2008: John McCain says, “Globalization is an opportunity. We need to reduce barriers to trade.”

27. JOHN MC CAIN SAYS “NO” TO AGRICULTURAL SUBSIDIES. Dec 1999: He stoutly opposed the subsidies for ethanol, an important program for Iowa’s big farm economy. HE WANTS US TO DEPEND ON ETHANOL AS AN ALTERNATIVE FUEL SOURCE, BUT HE SAYS WE NEED TO IMPORT IT FROM SOMEWHERE ELSE TO SAVE US MONEY. (COULD THERE BE A LOBBYIST BEHIND THIS?) DEC 2007: JOHN MCCAIN SEES SUBSIDIES OF ANY KIND “A MISTAKE”.

28. McCain’s Energy Plan NUCLEAR POWER Put in 45 new nuclear plants. What he isn’t saying is that quite a few of those are actually replacements for the ones that are existing, but have problems or are too old. What he’s also not saying is that both Republicans and Democrats alike are not to quick to come to an agreement on where new plants would go because no one wants them in their back yard. This plan could stall or never get off the ground. Also, with all these plants comes excessive amounts of Nuclear Waste. Where do they dump it? In your backyard. Nuclear power in the end, environmentally, is not the safe answer.

29. McCain’s Energy Plan 2“Drill Here- Drill Now” John McCain who for so long “opposed” drilling offshore- but since he became the Republican Candidate for President. He’s changed his position to support offshore drilling. What the Republicans don’t tell you, but economists do: All the drilling they do right now will not effect us positively for at least 10-15 years. drilling for more oil does not offer an immediate solution. It does however, secure drilling rights for “big oil” business. Right now in the United States there are thousands of oil permits granted for drilling. Only a minimal amount are being used. Example: Texas issued 4500+ permits and about 1500+ are actually being used. President Bush and the Republican party have been trying to secure offshore drilling for many years. They are now taking “advantage” of the American people and the conditions that they put this country in, to secure their goals. John McCain will help “them.”
