Strengths and Weaknesses Strengths Weaknesses • Tradition • Costly upkeep • Heating • Ventilation • Floors • Etc.
Personal Safety Weaknesses: Low staffing Low monitoring Strengths: Improvement of monitoring over the years. Telephone availability Evacuation Procedures
Parking Lot • Only one light covers parking lot • Open Parking Lot: No danger spots • Surveillance Cameras present.
Locker Rooms • -Only two locker rooms • -Makes it difficult to hold tournaments. • -No notices to shower • -Available lockers • -Disability Facilities • -Privacy limited in male locker rooms
Signage • All entrances and exits were clearly marked • No secondary language • Brail on locker room doors.
Maintenance Generally very clean No graffiti Few signs of vandalism and lacking of maintenance.
Atmosphere • Overall friendly atmosphere • Whole community is invovled • Everyone knows everyone type town. • Friendly staff • Bright body image of the gym.
ADA Requirements • Biggest concern with this facility • Lacks many wheelchair pathways. • Bathrooms are not wheelchair accessible • Only one ramp into gym.
Sports Facilities • Access to locker rooms • Access to Exercise Equipment • Access to Shower Facilities • Parking Access • No access to saunas or steam rooms.
Weight Room -Accessible weight room -Very old weight room with old equipment. -Lots of clutter in weight room.
Other Considerationsand Things I found. • Gym lacks AED’s • Being installed this year. • Mats have been placed for non slip surfaces • Open hours are 6:00-4:00 with adequate staffing. • Out of date fire extinguishers. • Low availability of rails.
