  2. Project Updates • MLBV Corporate & transfer of business assets • Forestry • Ne-He-Thow Store • Paskwawakihk Store • Sawmill/log home construction • Montreal Lake Industrial

MLBV C0rporate • Chief and Council made decision by way of BCR to separate business from politics and put all businesses under the umbrella of MLBV • Theaccountantsand lawyers have nearly finished their work • The two stores will be rolled into MLBV in the next few months • Partnership units in NRT and PADCBD • Independent board of directors • Board of Directors working on personnel and financial policy manuals

Forestry • Carrier Lumber agreement has been signed • 100,000 cubic meters of softwood • 6 year term • MLBV has first right to harvest, load and haul our allocation • Achieving this by sub contract with existing company • MLBV has first right to tree plant on our allocation • Work at their PA Mill (2 presently)

  5. Forestry (continued) • Paper Excellence agreement getting close • 100,000 cubic meters of softwood • And 40,000 cubic meters of hardwood • 5 year term • MLBV has first right to harvest, load, haul and tree plant on our allocation area • Work at the Pulp Mill

  6. Forestry (continued) • Paper Excellence – Letter of Intent • Greenhouse using their waste heat • Training centre – steamfitters, instrumentation etc • Mill yard opportunities • Scaling contract – samples of green wood • Wood chip sampling for quality • Wood chip production

Forestry (cont) • Kaskew Forestry • The allocation will be transferred within two years • Bart Smith has been providing forester and watchdog services for us and attends all meetings of Sakaw Askiy • Now looking for a new GM • Tree plant will start on July 4 • Funding request into CFS-AFI for GM wages for two years

  8. Ne-He-Thow Store • Store has good team in place • Planning underway for a new 8,500 sqft store • Financial statements will be prepared for the two year period ending September 30, 2012 • Then feasibility study and business plan • Construction to start in about May 2013

  9. Paskwawakihk Store • Have CEOP funds in place to have a feasibility study and business plan prepared • Questionnaire to community – what will you support • Possible expand inventory, new pumps, signs etc

  10. Value Added Sawmill – Log Home • Have CEOP funds in place to have a feasibility study and business plan prepared • On the surface it looks like a good fit • We have: • A need for housing • Trained log home builders • A supply of wood • A sawmill and loader

Montreal Lake Industrial • Another well managed company • MLI has contracts in place with: • Key Lake – containment upgrades • Key Lake – Molly plant, Ductal concrete install • Key Lake – Product Recovery Plant • Cigar Lake – beginning on June 25 • New McArthur River Camp concrete slab complete • Pulp Mill – new truck dumper and new Hog Screw

HUMAN RESOURCE DATABASE • There will opportunities aplenty in the future • We know we have lots of trained people and lots of others who are ready willing and able (with a bit training) • We need a searchable data base • Your assistance in filling in this questionnaire will be a big help to us • Kevin Bear will be helping out

  13. Looking Ahead • Tree planting starts July 4th • Selection of 14 planters will be done on June 25th • Looking for training funds for the sawmill • Questionnaires completed and inputted into database • Ongoing meetings with PAPI to develop the training centre • Ensure that our trained people get work with our logger
