  1. Suryakumar Yadav Reveals The Advice He Gave Himself Before His First Knock For India Swashbuckling India and Mumbai Indians batsman Suryakumar Yadav, who made his international debut against England earlier this year, has recalled how much he was nervous on a memorable day but a piece of simple advice to self calmed him down as well. He said that he asked himself to “Be yourself” on that day. It is also noteworthy that, Suryakumar Yadav made a quickfire 57 in his second T20 International game at Ahmedabad after he did not get the chance to bat in his debut match. Also, I was not happy at that time since Rohit (Sharma) had got out, but when I was going to bat, I was running in, so that shows how excited I was,” the batman said in a video posted by Mumbai Indians on their official Twitter handle recently.

  2. Yadav, who has played three T20I games so far, said that he remembered the moment while coming out to bat at the number three spot. “When I padded up and came to the dug-out, I was nervous, and it should be that way, if you don’t get nervous, how would you perform. When I was going inside, everything started running in my mind, what I have done when I bat at three. I got my answer when I said to myself ‘don’t do anything different, do the same thing be yourself, that’s it’,” the stylish right-handed batsman again shared. He revealed that he knew what Archer would do as he has faced him many times in the Indian Premier League. And, Archer did the same which saw a stunning six from Yadav as well.
