Born in New Delhi, Gautam Gambhir was adopted by his grandparents soon after his birth and he lived with them after then. He started playing cricket when he was just 10 years old and in 2000, he was selected for the first intake of the National Cricket Academy in Bangalore.<br>Former Indian Cricketer Gautam Gambhir plays for Delhi in domestic cricket. He captained Kolkata Knight Riders in the Indian Premier League. He is one among the good captains who captained Team India in six ODIs with India winning all six matches.<br>
