Fire & Burn Prevention – in the Kitchen Supervise kids & pets while cooking Keep a fire extinguisher in the kitchen Turn pot & pan handles to the back to keep them from being pulled down or knocked over If a fire starts in a pan, quickly cover the pan with a lid or cookie sheet and turn off the stove Call 911
