6. ETReS (Education and Training peers Review Service) Mission (2/4) Recommendation A systematic training needs assessment of regulatory personnel should be conducted periodically. It is recommended using the free IAEA software tool SARCoN, which is an upgrading of the TECDOC 1254. The management information system in BAPETEN should be finalized and the procedures, responsibilities and keeping records of all the training received in house and abroad as well as their training materials provided.  a process for training the trainers should be established and the personnel trained abroad for in house training used . ETReS (Education and Training peers Review Service) Mission (3/4) Recommendation the training center should be enlarged with further seminar areas related to safety of nuclear installations, especially on regulatoryapproaches, leadership and safetyculture, drafting regulations, management of trainingand reinforcing languages. a few simple simulator models of various NPP designs for training purposes is recommendable. It is recommended to promote continuous development, i.e. from bachelor to master degree and define career development plans. It is recommended to continue with the identification of future training needs of BAPETEN in preparation of a decision to develop nuclear power.
