ABOUT US • Bakro International Transport Ltd was established and commenced trading in November 1986. • In 2008 the company underwent a major transition and an experienced and vibrant management team joined the ‘Bakro Family’, which enabled the company to expand in very difficult times. • In 2010 we achieved ISO14001 Environmental Management Standards Certification, to compliment the ISO9001 accreditation we have held since June 1994. • Bakro International Transport Ltd saw further growth in 2011 when we became a member of a leading Pallet Network for the Milton Keynes postal area.

  5. SUSTAINABILITY PROGRAMME • We operate our business from four facilities in The UK and a fifth in The Netherlands; and are very aware of the effects on the environment our business can have. In 2010 we achieved ISO04001 Environmental Management Standards Certification, to complement the ISO9001 accreditation we have held since June 1994. • As responsible employers we encourage all our staff and directors of the company to work together and be aware of the part they play in reducing our Carbon Footprint.  From the simplest of measures, such as the recycling of waste paper and cardboard, to more efficient route planning and reduction in the speed our vehicles maintain, these have all become a part of our everyday routine at Bakro International Transport. • At Bakro International Transport we are committed to the continuance of our Sustainability Programme. We know that as a company the decisions we make today will have long term effects on the environment and future generations.  Therefore with the co-operation of our workforce, customers and suppliers we are confident we can achieve further reductions in energy and used Co2 emissions.
