  4. New Charter Academy Learn. Grow. Achieve Two predecessor schools. 1,650 students age 11-19. Business and Enterprise specialism. New £40M building.

  5. Journey • Hartshead Sports College and Stamford High • School re-branded and re-opened as • New Charter Academy Sept 2008 • 1,300 Students 11-16 in Sept 2008 • 6th Form started September 2010 • 112 Teaching Staff • 126 Support Staff

Some Key Facts. • Significant social and economic deprivation. • Greenhurst Campus (Hartshead) students from 4 wards, 3 in worst 5% on Index of Multiple Deprivation. • Silver Springs (Stamford) campus – 44% students get free school meals, in lowest 16% of deprivation Index. • 25 languages spoken across the Academy • Saturdays and holidays attract over 100 students for extra academic classes
