  1. BODRUM Embarkation: BODRUM Boarding starts at 15:00 hours from Bodrum Harbour. On the first day, our gulet will remain anchored in Bodrum Port for dinner and overnight stay. Bodrum is the ideal starting point for sailing the Aegean coast of Turkey. The Gokova Gulf is acknowledged to be one of the best cruising areas in Europe. With abundant sunshine, crystal clear waters, continuous blue skies, good anchorages and friendly people, this coast offers many diversities. There are many unspoiled areas rich in natural beauty and in costal settlements and villages. Bodrum is a port city in Mugla Province, in the southwestern Aegean Region of Turkey. It is located on the southern coast of Bodrum Peninsula, at a point that checks the entry into the Gulf of Gokova. The city was called Halicarnassus of Caria in ancient times and was famous for housing the Mausoleum of Mausolus, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Bodrum Castle, built by the Crusaders in the 15th century, overlooks the harbour and the marina. The castle grounds include a Museum of Underwater Archeology and hosts several cultural festivals throughout the year.

  2. AQUARIUM BAY AQUARIUM BAY (Ada Bogazi – translated “island strait”) Ada Bogazı derives its name from the word ‘Aquarium’ simply because the water here is so clear. You can see as deep as 30m with the naked eye. There are small bays at the west end and together with the crystal clear waters, present a perfect feast to the senses. Dinner and overnight stay will be at Mersincik Bay.

  3. KNIDOS After breakfast, we will anchor in Knidos. Knidos is one of the most magnificent ancient cities in Anatolia that you should visit. As the first settlement in the east of the Datca peninsula, Knidos has splendid ruins and a unique beauty. There is a theater located right next to the harbor of the ancient city of Knidos. A short walk towards the harbor will take you to the remains of two churches built during the Byzantine period. Knidos has been a site of archaeological excavations since 1960. The Statue of Demeter discovered here and the lion statues that protected the harbor in ancient times now adorn the halls of the British Museum. The sacred temple of the goddess Aphrodite is a major center of attraction. The city with a huge necropolis, a double harbor and the magnificent acropolis with the temple of Aphrodite truly impresses all visitors. Dinner and overnight stay will be at Aktur Bay.

  4. DATCA Datca was founded by the Dorians who settled in the Aegean islands and the southern coast of Ionia. This peninsula is located between the Aegean Sea and the Mediterranean Sea. At the end of the peninsula, at a distance of about 38 km is the ancient Carian city of Knidos, which was described by Strabo as the ‘city built for the most beautiful goddess, Aphrodite, on the most beautiful peninsula”. It is also believed that around 500 years ago, the Spanish pirates sailing left leprosy patients to die here but the fair weather of the peninsula recovered the lepers. Customs formalities will be done in Datca for our entrance to Symi, Greece; in the morning.

  5. SYMI We will cruise to Symi Island early in the morning. Symi has one of the most beautiful harbours in the Dodecanese. On either side of a steep-sided fjord rise tier upon tier of houses, some white, some pastel yellow, but virtually all with Neo-Classical pediments - a reminder that 100 years ago this was one of Greece's most prosperous islands. There has been virtually no modern concrete construction here and now these fine old houses are being resurrected for visitors. The spirit of the island remains intact. Dinner and overnight stay will be at Symi Island.

  6. BOZBURUN It’s off to the charming town of Bozburun. Bozburun is renowned for the thriving gulet construction industry. Some of the best wood and craftsmen for building strong and beautiful gulets are found in this region, which is why leading names in the business employ Bozburun boat makers. Owing to its gulet and yacht manufacturing industries, Bozburun has become a central attraction, visited by tourists from all across the world. Here a variety of shops along the promenade and a few restaurants. Bozburun is a popular harbor for boats travelling between Turkey and Greece.

  7. BOZUKKALE We will cruise to Bozukkale in the early morning. Bozukkale (Loryma) is an ancient city that dates back to 10 BC. There are nine towers of the castle walls extending in a mutually rectangular pattern. The castle and towers are very well preserved and appear in a solid state. ‘Kale’ means 'corrupted'. Therefore, the name of the place may be attributed to the fact that one side of the castle is missing. Bozukale used to serve as a bay for British naval ships and is now considered as a shipyard on the shore. It was used as a place to watch all the yachts in the Aegean. Its strategic geographical location and narrow port was also used by the ships sailing from the port of Athens. In 395 BC, the Athenian commander, Karori, is known to have come here. Before the Cnidus War of 305 BC, Demetrios, son of Antigonos chose this port for preparations before attacking Rhodes. Then we will cruise to Serce Bay.

  8. SERCE BAY Serce Bay is where the Blue Cruise boats moor. The place offers a brilliant image of the bottom of the harbor and is well protected from the harshest weather conditions. Underwater surveys and excavations have led to many discoveries including many centuries old glassware, which is now kept in the Bodrum Underwater Museum. Serce Harbor is the place for such archaeological findings. About one kilometer ahead of Serce, on the right are the villages of Kirkkuyular and Sindilli, where many abandoned stone houses can be found. In Kirkkuyular, the regions’ oldest residence, there are 40 cisterns. The water in this region is saline and unfit for animal husbandry and agriculture. The residents use the wells for household use. However, Kirkkuyular and Sindilli are emerging as hot trekking destinations. Dinner and overnight stay will be at Serce Bay.

  9. KIZIL ADA, ARAP ISLAND After breakfast we will cruise to Kizil Island. At sunset, the sun hits the stones and turns crimson red in color, a color that resembles the island soil. The island got its name from this phenomenon. There is very little infrastructure on this island. The southern tip of the island has a lighthouse that guides maritime traffic. To the north-west are the Delik tas Islands, ideal for diving and fishing. The red waves off the east coast of the island wash the wide sandy beach and are best suited for swimming. Then we will cruise to Kumlubuk Bay and Cennet Island for dinner and overnight stay.

  10. KUMLUBUK, CENNET ISLAND Today, we will cruise to Kumlubuk Bay early in the morning. Breakfast will be served in Kumlubuk Bay. We anchor at Cennet Island for our last swimming break and lunch. Cennet Island is actually a peninsula covered with forests. It is located at the entrance of the bay of Marmaris and is especially popular among the places frequented by daily boat tours. Almost every boat stops here to allow the tourists to partake in the natural beauty of this place. You need to walk for about 8 km before reaching Yalanci Strait from where you can walk straight up to Cennet Island. The trail offers a unique opportunity for a nice nature walk. The Yalanci Strait received its name from the geographical structure of the Bosphorus strait that resembles a liar. There are many good restaurants and cafes around the island. Paradise Island is also very ideal for swimming. You can spend a full day on the island without getting bored if you are after total relaxation and peaceful surroundings. Dinner and overnight stay can be at Cennet Island or Marmaris port.
