  1. Creating a Toolbox Texts and Daybooks Follow-up

  2. Writing into the Day • How are you working with the notion of "text" as it is specific to your content area? What mentor texts are you working with? Share what you've collected. Are their questions/ struggles you and your students have with this concept that we can think about together? • How are you working with daybooks/ interactive notebooks in your classroom? How's that going? What works well? What are the challenges and struggles? • How is literacy functioning as a tool in your class? What is the writing and reading in your class "do-ing" right now? Is this what you want it to "do?" Why or why not?

  3. Welcome to the Wiki

  4. Earning Credits • 3 hours for attending both workshops • 1 hour for each classroom practice post • 2 hours for each response to the reading post • 1 hour for two responses to colleague posts. • March 21st Spring Conference – 6 hours.

  5. Assessing the Daybook • Reflective Assessment of Daybooks • Daybook Reflective Assessments as Unit or Semester Tests

  6. Reflection • What questions do you have about assessing the daybook? • What are you thinking about the wiki? • How might a wiki open up possibilities for literacy in your content area?
