Product Overview • Product Briefing • DGS-1210 series is the latest generation of Gigabit Web Smart Switch, which incorporates Green Technology and saves energy by detecting link status and cable length. • DGS-1210 series provides many of the features that typically found in managed switches without adding complexity or additional cost. • DGS-1210 series is designed for SMBs/Enterprises seeking to upgrade from unmanaged switches to smart switches – that gives customers easy access and simplifies operation at affordable price. 2010/Jan.   4. Product Overview • The DGS-1210 series adopts advanced silicon to enable power savings by link status and cable length, which has significant low power consumption compared to previous non-green models.

  5. Product Overview Time-based PoE* : Shuts down power automatically during off-work hours. The following table shows the amount of energy you can save in a scenario where 8pcs of DCS-7510 are connected to DGS-1210-10P. Each DCS-7510 consumes 7.95w and the power saving a day is based on a standard workday of 10 hours powered on and 14 hours powered off.
