  3. MD requirements documentation • For Phase 1 • In = Must have complete MD • Maybe in = Minimal LOE for MD to be complete • Out = Incomplete MD and/or high LOE • Out = incomplete data/product/service

  4. Data requirements for f(x) • ..to include/find? • must have compliant MD records • ..to download • MD have online linkage with HTTP/FTP access to the data (zip, etc…) • …to visualize • MD online linkage must have web-mapping protocol (ie: KML, WFS/WMS, etc)

  5. Maintenance & upkeep plan (expectations) • Unknown at this time…. • Harvest our own experiences through process of supporting NCS portal to build document • Offer as deliverable to support future planning

  7. “How to get involved” summary/workflow • Supporting document to explain how to get data ready to participate in NCS portal • Reference to template for MD • Reference to relevant specs for online mapping

Needs… • Vetting process for “authoritative” stamp on data, product or service (long-term) • “Bins” for channels: • Suggested: Forecasts, Assessment, Historical, Drought • Others..? • NOTE: Channel = filter query = focus area = subject matter domain, etc… • TIME – to discover data and compile lists… • Team to share FTW workload –
