What is black box testing?

All software testing methods can be broadly divided into two categories – black-box testing and white-box testing. A tester must know the internal design, structure, and implementation of the software while performing white-box testing. The white-box testing methods require testers evaluate the source code of the software and to identify the units or sections of code that do not behave as expected.
