Introduction • Arrogant boasting about tomorrow’s success is not for God’s faithful. Jas. 4:13-17 • That said, planning is perfectly acceptable. v. 15 • While you should have goals for yourself in the Lord, here are the ones the elders have set forth for this congregation.
1 Corinthians 3:7 (NKJV) So then neither he who plants is anything, nor he who waters, but God who gives the increase. Congregational Growth

Opportunities for Personal Growth • Special classes for both younger and older men who want to participate in public situations. • Special classes for those desiring to become elders/deacons. • Truth Project Bible studies. • “Teaching by cards”: a tool to evangelize. • Women’s Bible studies. • Men’s Saturday Bible studies.
2 Corinthians 9:7 (NKJV) “God loves a cheerful giver.” Increase In Our Giving
Increased Giving Allows For… • Improve contributions 10% annually • Outside support of preachers in other areas. • Preacher training program. • Increase benevolence for Christians in need (locally or afar) • Care for costly pending building repairs/maintenance.
Conclusion • What part will you take to see that we meet our goals for this year? • May God make all grace abound toward us, to have all sufficiency in all things, that we may have an abundance for every good work. 2 cor. 9:8
