  1. Two associations for the promotion of French Nuclear Companies in the world through Partnerships Two associations for the support of nuclear programs in the world, benefiting from the experience and expertise of French Suppliers.

  2. History : from PFCE (France China Electricity association)… 1997 :creation of the PFCE association chaired by EDF. Why the PFCE association was created ? A context with the slowdown of the French Nuclear program in the late 90s and an opportunity in China with the development of the Chinese Nuclear market. Objectives of PFCE : . to promote the creation of partnerships between French SMEs and Chinese manufacturers . To help French companies to localize in China.

  3. … to PFME (France Worldwide Electricity Association) 2012 : Creation of the PFME association : Following the success of PFCE in China, French SMEs considered with EDF the creation of a new association "PFME" which could be involved (as PFCE in China) in the development of nuclear power in many countries around the world.

  4. For all the nuclear projects in a newcomer country or in a country which restart its nuclear activities, the local industry includes companies skilled which know the traditional local context (country legislation, industrial uses, purchasing uses,…) EDF has already several hundred of experienced suppliers in France; they know very well the nuclear requirements but not the local context, and they are not able to build. For a common interest, Partnerships between experienced EDF suppliers and local companies are very welcome

Industrialcompanieswhichprovideequipments and services for NPP all aroundthe world . An association whichrepresents the wholeexperience of nuclearindustry

Objectives : • A network of ventures betweensuppliersrepresenting all areas of the nuclearindustry, from design to construction, from maintenance and operation to decommissioningand dismantling. • for worldwide assistance of the nuclearprograms. • for the sustainable promotion of small, medium and large French nuclearfirms through partnership. • To help to the localization of the PFCE / PFME members in Foreign countries (e.g JV), to create partnerships between French and Foreign companies.

  7. Objectives : • to promote the quality, safety control and high-tech of French companieswith international organizations and local and national authorities. • based on the excellence of French practices : codes & standards, qualifications, survey of manufacturing, expertise and feedback from the French nuclearfleet.

  8. PFCE / PFME Activities : • Bring a full life cycle expertise, experience and technologies • architect engineer • supply of equipments, erection and installation • commissioning, monitoring • maintenance • dismantling • life cycle & waste management
