Prewriting is the foundational stage of the writing process that takes place before actual writing begins. It involves brainstorming ideas about the topic you wish to explore, such as interests in healthy food, sports, or family. This stage encourages you to ask essential questions: What will you write about? Who will it involve? Where and when do events take place? You can use techniques like lists, webs, or drawings to organize your thoughts. By effectively prewriting, you set the stage for a well-structured and thoughtful piece.
