  4. AREAS OF IMPROVEMENT • Onboarding (new hire program) • Performance Support • Quick reference guide • Videos/Podcasting • Wikis/Blogs • Simulations • Manga • M-Learning • (new delivery method for the new learner)

  5. ONBOARDING • Creation of a 90 day learning track • Different learning tracks for different positions (i.e., secretary/attorney) • Give responsibility to learner • Linked with employee 30/60/90 review process • Allows us to QUANTIFY who knows what

  6. NEW LEARNING TRACK(5 phases) • Sports Analogy • Recruit • Rookie • Team Player • All Star • MVP

  7. ONBOARDING EXECUTION • Creation of learning tracks for each job function (Jen and Shelton) • Fill in tasks for each phase of learning track • Inform Department heads of changes • Ask the staff: Onboarding Wiki • Detailed analysis of current training

  8. WHAT ARE THE CURRENT PROBLEMS? • Onboarding Scheduling • Disorganization • No way to QUANTIFY what our users know • Dependent Learners • Lack of community feeling • Attrition • [Add your issue here!!]

  9. PERFORMANCE SUPPORT • Start organizing our “below the line” stuff • First – organize current materials • Second – produce more materials where there are gaps (enlist help of senior staff) • For each – ask yourself • Text, Audio, Podcast, Video, Wiki, Blog, etc.
