  2. Who i picked and why? I picked Hathor. I picked her because see looked interesting to do. I didn’t know that she even existed untill now..Well I hope you enjoy it! =)

Name -Her name translates to the “house of horus”-Because her name in translation, she is associated with the royal family.-Alternate name for her was Mehturt meaning great flood.-Because to her name (Mehturt) and that she was said to be made from the milky way she was indentified as responsible for the yearly inundation of the nile.

  4. Apperence -Looks like a cow bearing the sun disk between her horns-Horns on her head-sundisk between horns

She was... - She was queen, Horus was her king- She could be the mother-goddess of the whole world.(Because the entire world could be said to be the house of horus!)- Patron of the sky, the sun, the queen, music, dance, and the arts.- Goddess of all that is best in woman.- Protectress of prgnant woman- Responsible for child birth- Origanally seen as the daughter of Pa.- Was origanally a personification of the Milky Way.

  6. About her Hathor was a goddess, A queen, And a Portectress. She was queen because of her name in translation. Her apperence was odd. She looked like a cow. But looked like a woman. She had horns on her head and the sundisk in between her head. She was worshiped by all woman. Even the queen. Her king was horus. She became queen because her name in translation was “house of horus”. Because her name ment “house of horus” she was part of the royal family. Hathor was seen as the daughter of pa. She was the goddess of that was best in woman.

  7. Relations 1.Daughter of Nut and Ra.2.Wife of Ra, 3.Mother of Ihy. 4.Many legends say she is the mother of Horus the Elder. 5.Other as the wife of Horus of Edfu.

  8. Representation • Hathor was worshiped sometimes in the form of a cow. And sometimes as a cow with stars on her. After she is represented as a woman with the head of a cow and finally with a humand head, the face stong looking. Sometimes she is discribed with the ears or horns of a cow. In some pictures she is also shown with a head-dress resembling a pair of horns with the moon-disk between them.Sometimes she is met with in the form of a cow standing in a boat, surrounded by tall papyrus reeds. As the "Mistress of the Necropolis" she is shown as the head of a cow looking from a mountainside. In this case she wears a menat necklace, which is a symbol of rebirth.
