Qualifications in Progression • Over 600 units available • Units available in most sectors to include; • Health, Public Services and Care • Information and Communication Technology • Preparation for Life and Work • Business, Administration and Law. • Units can be combined to meet the needs of learners/organisation

Qualifications in Progression • NOCN Level 2 Award in Progression (QCF) • 9 credits (72 GLH) • minimum 6 credits at Level 2 • Maximum 3 credits at Level 1 • 3 credits must be from the Mandatory Group • NOCN Level 3 Award in Progression (QCF) • 12 credits (84 GLH) • minimum 9 credits at Level 3 • maximum 3 credits at Level 2 • 3 credits must be from the Mandatory Group

IT User Skills (ITQ) • aim to equip individuals with the IT user skills needed in employment and society • recognise employers’ needs for ICT qualifications that reflect real-world skills • enable recognition of the skills that employers want • use flexible approaches to assessment and delivery

  14. Bespoke Units • Used to meet a specific need • Can be written to accredit a course you already offer • Unit will be written to QCF standards • Units may already be available on OCN Eastern Region database • OCN Eastern Region accreditation provides the quality stamp for your course
