  15. Math In CTE Project • Partnership with NRCCTE • Focuses on curriculum integration to improve mathematical understanding • Recognizes CTE teachers are teachers of Math in CTE and not math teachers

Math In CTE Project • How does it work? • Pairs CTE instructors with Math instructors • Starts with the CTE curriculum • Identifies math that naturally occurs within CTE curriculum • Math instructor assists CTE instructor in broadening math concepts from specific tasks to general math essentials.

Math In CTE Project • MO designated two program areas for initial project • Business: 11 CTE and Math instructor teams • Health: 7 CTE and Math instructor teams • Instructor teams will develop and implement a minimum of 10 enhanced Math in CTE lessons by the end of the year • Future goals • Expand reach throughout the state • Expand program areas

  18. Displaced Homemaker Fee Waiver • Submit FV-4s for the upcoming school year • Expended all funds the past fiscal year • Deadline for FV-4s – December 31, 2011 • Unobligated funds will be redistributed beginning in January 2012
