The First Day in U.S. Dennis Wang
My first day in U.S. was one day in September. I walked out from the airport of Kansas. It is a small airport I think.
A strong man came out from a big van. He looked around and walked to me, “Are you Tianyu Wang?” I heard my name, then I said yes, and get into the van.
I was very nervous when I sat in there. I don’t really remember what I was thinking. But I remember I was really sad.
` • Around one hour later, I arrived to the school dorm.
When I walked in there, I felt like I could not even breathe.
The teacher in the dorm told me I should go to room 111, but I saw my name was under room 110.
I don’t know how to ask her, so I just went into the room she said.
