  10. Long term plans • Set up the clinic infrastructure • Equip the mobile boat to provide treatment to people during transportation • Convert the mobile boat into a clinic which can go to the neighboring islands and provide the treatment.

  11. Site Visit • Tathagatha – San Diego • The people in the area trust BTS • They seem to be doing good work • Seem to get involved in a lot of activities without driving things to completion

  12. Some issues • Sustenance apart from FHC • A centralized income generation project – integrated farming, poultry farming & prawn farming • Issue with the doctor

  13. Non-monetary contributions • Proposal for Homeopathy Clinic • Medical equipment • Translation of TNSF training material

  14. Some thoughts • Focus is on the clinic and getting the infrastructure • Personal opinion • Good work • Not too much focus on preventive health • Dependency on doctor is a obstacle to sustainability • Communication has not been too smooth
