Christ Centered Living

have you met the truth
Have you met the truth?
  • Love does not rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth. (1 Corinthians 13:6)
  • You were running a good race. Who cut in on you and kept you from obeying the truth? (Galatians 5:7)
have you been enlightened

  • Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path (Psalm 119:105)
  • “You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl, instead they put it on its stand and it gives light to everyone in the house.” Matthew 5:14

What do you hunger and thirst for?
  • The Lord will continually guide you, and satisfy your desire. (Isaiah 58:11)
  • Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your request be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:6-7)
  • Delight yourself in the Lord; and He will give you the desires of your heart (Psalm 37:4)

Love is Here

Are you passionate for God?
  • Delight yourself in the Lord; and He will give you the desires of your heart (Psalm 37:4)
  • Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge him and he will make your paths straight. (Proverbs 3: 5-6)
it s a matter of the heart
It’s a matter of the heart!
  • If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just; and will purify you from all unrighteousness. (1 John 1:9)
  • For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. (Luke 12:34)
have you forgiven as you have been
Have you forgiven; as you have been?
  • If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just; and will purify you from all unrighteousness. (1 John 1:9)
  • Never take your own revenge, beloved, but leave room for the wrath of God, for it is written. (Romans 12:19)
  • Father, forgive them; for they do not know what they are doing (Luke 23:34)
what are you going to do now

What are you going to do now?

Don’t answer that yet…

patient or a patient
Patient or a Patient?
  • Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry (James 1:19)
  • But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control (Galatians 5:22)
  • Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.(1Corinthians 13:4)
  • Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as Christ God forgave you. (Ephesians 4:32)
  • If possible, so far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone. (Romans 12:18)
  • Yet he has not left himself without testimony: He has shown kindness by giving you rain from heaven and crops in their seasons; he provides you with plenty of food and fills your hearts with joy.” (Acts 14:17)

Give me your Eyes

do not envy
Do not Envy.
  • Place me like a seal over your heart, like a seal on your arm; for love is as strong as death, its jealousy unyielding as the grave it burns like blazing fire, like a mighty flame. (Song of Solomon 8:6)
  • For where you have envy or selfish ambition, there you find disorder and every evil practice. (James 3:16)
  • What causes fights and quarrels among you? Don’t they come from your desires that battle within you? You want something but don’t get it. You kill and covet, but you cannot have what you want. You quarrel and fight. You do not have, because you do not as God.(James 4:1-2)

  • Why do you look at the speck that is in your brother's eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye? (Matthew 7:3)
  • A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger. (Proverbs 15:1)
that s just rude
That's just Rude
  • If a man loudly blesses his neighbor early in the morning, it will be taken as a curse. (Proverbs 27:14)
  • Words from a wise man’s mouth are gracious, but a fool is consumed by his own lips. (Ecclesiastes 10:12)
selfish who me
Selfish? Who me?
  • Be devoted to one another in brotherly love; honor one another above yourselves. (Romans 12:10)
  • For where you have envy and selfish ambition, there you find disorder and every evil practice. (James 3:16)
  • No temptation has seized you, except what is common to man. And God is faithful; He shall not let you be tempted by more than you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will provide a way out, so that you may stand up under it. (1 Corinthians 10: 13)

  • For whoever is not against us is for us. I tell you the truth, anyone who gives you a cup of water in my name because you belong to Christ will certainly not lose his reward. (Mark 9:40-41)
  • God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life (John 3:16)
