Challenges? • We are now in a ‘Zero sum’ environment • 3 levels of progress is an average….less able students tend to make less progress • Boundaries have been raised • No retakes impacts on middle ability • Coursework change impacts on weaker students • No comparisons to previous years • Ebacc will make more difficult for less able
