Mike Ross, formerly a Vice President at Atmel Corporation, currently lives in the city of San Jose, California. During his career, Ross has overseen many corporate divestitures and acquisitions totaling more than $1 billion. Ross has also handled legal issues regarding the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and the Sarbanes-Oxley Act. Afterwards, Mike Ross earned a Juris Doctor in Palo Alto, California from Stanford Law School. At this time, Ross is working with Solar Semiconductor Ltd in Human Resources and Corporate Development, and he serves as General Counsel, Vice President, and Secretary. Mike Ross first began his career in 1985 with the company Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP. There, Ross held the position of Associate, responsible for various legal aspects of the law practice. After this, Ross began work as General Counsel, Mergers and Acquisitions, and Vice President with Atmel Corporation. Mike Ross was one of the initial general counsel members for the company, which can claim more than 9,000 employees internationally. During his time there, Ross was also able to handle litigation and negotiations for several prestigious companies, including AT&T, IBM, Harris Corporation, and Intel Corporation, among others. Mike Ross next became the Senior Vice President, CFO, and General Counsel with Advanced Power Projects Inc. for the following year.
