  3. How do we make sure verbs agree with subjects? Determine whether your subject is singular or plural. Are you writing in present or past tense? Match it to the appropriate form of the verb. Conjugate it! On paper or in your head.

Homework 1) Read article, “Why is Education So Important?” 2) Purposeful Underlining: Underline any sentences or phrases that describe the importance of education. 3) Circle keywords (important, repeated words). 4) Brainstorm to answer the prompt, “Is Education Important? Why or why not? Come up with at least three ideas for or against. More is better!
