Vision: Provide a view of organizational information that simplifies employee interaction with business systems, facilitating collaboration and business processes while improving productivity, communication, and satisfaction. • We selected SharePoint 2010 Standard as our Intranet • User count: 350 + • 3 Office locations • Host internally • Launched 1st phase in August, 2011

Link business tools and systems to one portal for easy access. Connect to our document management system. Create document collections for improved search. Improve communication and collaboration across practice groups which tend to operate like silos. Create robust user profiles for expertise search. Provide robust content for the administrative, committee, practice group and client team pages. Improve search results. Use discussion boards, blogs, wikis when applicable.

  24. The urgency to change our public website! • In 2010 we upgraded our content management tool used to manage our public website. • The tool turned out to be a clunker! Page loads spiking to 5-13 seconds Drop in lead conversions Increased maintenance Unable to share content between language sites Performance was so poor (outside the US) our global site admins could no longer make changes
