George C. Scott is our Senior Certified Public Accountant bringing 10 years of vast knowledge in accounting, General Accepted Accounting Principles(GAAP) and tax codes.

Tracy Parnell is our Junior Certified Public Accountant bringing 3 years of experience in balance sheet analysis and reconciliation, monthly and year-end GAAP financial reporting.

Drew Barrymore is our Senior Bookkeeper bringing 5 years of expertise in payroll, financial transactions, front office management and banking processes.

Advertising Tactics Advertising Costs


  • Yellow Pages - Via the internet, newspaper ad and website will run year round as well as each professional portfolio website. The newspaper ad is a 3 X 3 inch piece listed in the business section everyday all year long.

  • Radio and Billboards - Will run for two months during tax season; two weeks prior to January 31st, to approximately March 15th.

  • Radio ads will run on radio stations: KEX, KINK, KUPL, KNJJ, KUFO, and KYCH. Six times a day at: 7:15am, 8:30am, 11:15am, 12:30pm, 4:30pm and 5:15pm.

  • Billboards during the first month will be posted running on the north and south bound lanes of HWY 217 and running on the east and west bound lanes of HWY 26, east of the HWY 217 interchange. Then during the second month the billboards on HWY 217 will be moved and posted running on the north and south bound lanes of I-5 north of Tigard.

  • Brochures - Approximately 100,000 brochure flyers containing a 25% off new customer coupon or a 10% returning customer coupon will be mailed out to 8 different zip codes 97221, 97123, 97224, 97007, 97223, 97225, 97005, and 97124 two weeks prior to January 31st.

  • Business Cards - We will have 750 company business cards made to distribute in small stacks at neighboring businesses, and 250 business cards to have on site for clients. Each professional employee will have a start of 250 personal business cards for clients, networking and associates.

If Grover Accounting & Business Consulting Service decides financially that it can hire someone it will be after the firm shows positive growth. We may bring on temporary workers during the busy season, this generally occurs during tax time.

When it becomes time to hire a new employee, the perspective employees will be interviewed in a panel setting by George, Tracy and Drew. After narrowing down the list, the perspective employees will be called to come in and have additional individual interviews with each panel member.

My group was great, unfortunately my other group members could not be here today.

The only thing that I would like to have done differently, is to have gotten the final presentation project paper in the beginning of the quarter.

I learned some things on marketing which is exactly what I wanted to learn about.
