Samuel’s Circuit Gilgal – “rolling away” Significance: Place of Memorial – Josh. 4:19-20 Removed a Reproach – Josh. 5:7-9 Represents: Crucifying the Flesh Romans 13:14 But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof.
Samuel’s Circuit Mizpah – “high or strong tower” Significance: Place of Deliverance – 1Sam. 7:4-10 Represents: God fighting our battles. Psalm 18:2 The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.
Samuel’s Circuit Ramah – “high or elevated position” Significance: Place of Personal Peace – Living above the circumstances of the world. Represents: The Peace of God Philippians 4:7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
