Responsive Local Services • Increase resident influence on priority setting and decision making in their local area • Increase resident satisfaction with the level of customer service • Increase in the number of residents who feel informed about what is happening in their area • Increase in service requests dealt with right first time • Reduction in the number of posts needed to do the job • Close working with Local Councillors and other partners /agencies

  4. Responsive Local Services 2 – Service Scope • Street Scene Services – from April 12 • Parks Operational Maintenance • Sports Pitch maintenance • Cemeteries and Crematorium • Arboriculture • Play Areas

  5. Area Response Team • Area Response Manager • Area Response Officer • Ward Team Leaders • Environmental Enforcement Officer • Parks Rangers

  6. Being Responsive • Residents see action in their local area • Regular attendance at: • Area Committees; • Place Boards • Residents Meetings • Customer Focus Groups • ‘Walk and Talk Events’ – Joint walks with Councillors, Partners and Residents

LOVE WHERE YOU LIVE • 13 Groups and 15 Events across West area in September 2011. • Regular Love Where you Live activity including: • Litter Picks – Silksworth Lakeside and Youth Almighty • Bulb Planting – Launch Pad • Signage – Launch Pad • Joint work with Gentoo • Keen to support other LWYL activity
