Summary of Relocation Package • Expenses and time off for searching for a new property • Solicitors fees to sell your current home and buy a new home • Mortgage valuation survey, stamp duty, searches and land registry fees • Travel expenses & subsistence while relocating • Disparity allowance of up to 25% • Removal costs - using a recommended removal company

House Searching • Expenses for hotel accommodation and subsistence will be allocated for house searching • Internet property finder sites will be made available • A list of Estate Agents selling houses in the Swindon area is available • Special arrangements are being placed for those employees who wish to rent

  4. Solicitors Fees • As well as paying the commission to an Estate Agent, the following solicitors fees will also be made available: • Up to £400 to sell your existing home • Up to £400 to buy another property • All Search Fees • Land Registry Fees • Stamp Duty

  5. Travel Expenses & Subsistence • The following will be made available to all employees:

  6. Disparity Allowance • Due to the disparity in housing costs in the North and the South, a disparity allowance of up to 25% will be made available for those who need it

  7. Removal Costs • All removal costs will be met conditional upon using one of our registered removal companies

  8. Recruitment Services • A Recruitment Services agency has been appointed to: • Help those opting for voluntary severance to find a job in Northumberland • Help the spouse of any employee relocating to find a job in the Swindon area

  9. Schools, Colleges & Nurseries • A list will be made available on the Company’s Intranet
