Radio frequency identification specialist Intelligentz Corp. has bought Franklin Wireless for an undisclosed amount.<br><br>Austin-based Intelligentz says the buyout helps it expand its market reach.<br><br>"This acquisition provides immediate access into the financial marketplace and also expands our customer base for the government sector," says CEO Michael T.   2. Radio frequency identification specialist Intelligentz Corp. has bought Franklin Wireless for an undisclosed amount. Austin-based Intelligentz says the buyout helps it expand its market reach. "This acquisition provides immediate access into the financial marketplace and also expands our customer base for the government sector," says CEO Michael T. Lucas.

  3. Franklin Wireless will continue to operate under its current brand name, SecurLynx. Intelligentz makes inventory management and RFID automation software that enables businesses to tag, track, and manage their inventory with real-time monitoring. Austin-based Franklin Wireless specializes in RFID tags to track the movement of people and data, such as financial records, as they move about data centers and other locations.
