During the rainy season, when the canals and rice fields overflow, white and pink water-lilies are in full bloom. White lilies bloom only at night, it is called "ghost flower". The pink lilies bloom during the day, with long body, not only used for decoration but also as ingredients for hot pot dishes of the people of the southwestern river region. Lilies do not need any special care, they provide a significant source of income for the people here.
