Andrea Roggi was born on July 2nd 1962 in Castiglion Fiorentino, Tuscany. In his teenage years the artist began to cultivate some of his many interests, including painting and poetry, until he gradually focused on sculpture. Roggi has produced a number of public artworks located in Italy — mostly in Tuscany and Umbria — and abroad. His works are featured in many art collections around the world and he has participated in various national and international exhibitions held at major venues such as the Olympia Grand Hall in London, the Ahoy in Rotterdam, the Grand Palais in Paris, the Grimaldi Forum in Monaco, the Fukuoka Oishi Gallery and Fukuoka City Museum in Japan.
