  7. The Psalter of Robert de Lisle is an outstanding English fourteenth century illuminated manuscript including narrative miniatures on the Life of Christ and other moral and theological drawings

  8. The Farnese Hours is an illuminated manuscript created by Giulio Clovio, an artist born in Croatia who worked in Italy, for cardinal Alessandro Farnese in 1546. Considered the masterpiece of Clovio, the book of hours is now in the possession of the Pierpont Morgan Library in New York City. It contains religious stories (both Biblical and apocryphal), and illustrations with architectural borders and classical nudes.
