Emil Chendea, graphic artist, painter and photographer. Born in Transylvania, Romania where he studied paintings, drawing, and art history. Immigrated to US in 1980. Lived in Long Island, New York, Fort Lauderdale, Florida and finally since 2010 settled in Sacramento, California. Awards for book design and illustration as well as for paintings.

  2. Emil Chendea Emil Chendea, graphic artist, painter and photographer. Born in Transylvania, Romania, where he studied paintings, drawing, and art history. Immigrated to United States in 1980 Worked as a graphic designer at Macmillan Educational Company in New York City. Moved to Florida in 1997 where started doing painting after many years of interruption. participated at many art shows in South Florida. Second prize and Merit Award at Coral Springs Art Shows. One man Show at Florida Governor’s Cabinet meeting room and at IGFA Museum in Dania Beach. Member of the Boca Raton Artist Guild. Emil Chendea este un artist mai puţin cunoscut publicului larg. Absolvent al Institutului de Arte Plastice “Nicolae Grigorescu”, Emil Chendea este unul dintre marii graficieni de carte din anii 1970. De-a lungul timpului, a fost răsplătit cu mai multe premii naţionale şi internaţionale pentru prezentare grafică şi ilustraţie. În prezent trăieşte în Statele Unite ale Americii
