  2. LONG – TERM GOALS • To enhance, use, apply, and understand the subject of Business Studies according to the 21st century teaching approaches and pass on the vast knowledge to students.

  3. Short – Term Goals • Help students individually to see how effectively they are able to apply the concepts taught to them • Promote activities which have case studies to awaken critical thinking which is helpful for data response • To keep student knowledge a little ahead of required curriculum for ease

  4. Instructional Strategies • I will provide real life situations to students so that they can apply business concepts • I will add general knowledge in my lectures in order to broaden the I.Q level in my students • I will take my students to popular business firms which will not just be a field for them but all so they will get to see how whatever they are learning, being applied in the world

  5. Tasks • I will let my students demonstrate real business activities which will make them more interested in the subject • I will give students tasks to make up their own case studies so that they can pursue analytical skills. • I will give students research work so that they remain acquainted with recent happenings in the business world

  6. Solutions to anticipated challenges Challenges • The principal may be reluctant to excessive need for internet • The school management may not be very cooperative to support multiple field trips to business organizations Solutions • I will inform the principal that the vast action of information over internet is very much reliable then handling encyclopedias in the library inventory • I will suggest the management that instead students go to business organizations repeatedly, relevant representatives of various firms should be invited to the school premises

  7. Timeline Analysis of business techniques and project work I will expose students to the business concepts Aug - Sept Dec - Jan Apr - May Oct - Nov Feb - Mar I will focus on the introduction of the subject Students will be taken to business firms Mock and Exam Preparation

  9. Conclusion By adopting the 21st century teaching approaches, my students will be benefitted to the maximum by opting for a subject like Business Studies
