Mission • Focuses on the four main areas in which the largest numbers of animals suffer: • Factory farms • Clothing trade • Laboratories • Entertainment Industry • They also work on other issues, including the cruel killing of beavers, birds, and other “pests” and cruelty to domesticated animals.

  3. Mission • They also work through public education, cruelty investigations, research, animal rescue, legislation, special events, celebrity involvement, and protest campaigns.

  4. Success • Send undercover investigators into slaughterhouses and laboratories to document abuse. • Pass out information on the street corners of photos of animal abuse. • Work with celebrities of high-profile campaigns. • Offer free and low-cost spay-and-neuter services to families in need.

  5. Becoming a Member • Annual donation of $16 or more entitles you to member benefits. • Members receive a free year’s subscription to their magazine Animal Times. • Donations to PETA are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by U.S. law.
