  1. Michael Dadoun is an Excellent Listener and Communicator Michael Dadoun

  2. A leader is a person who people like to follow out of their own free will rather than by coercion or threat. They help people reach those goals which initially seemed impossible to achieve. Michael Dadoun is a leader who leads by example and not force. People respect him and know that he will always place their interest ahead of his own. • In the following paragraphs we will look at some of the important qualities associated with good leadership.

  3. Humility • “There is nothing noble in being superior to your fellow man; true nobility is being superior to your former self.” ― Ernest Hemingway • It is often seen that the trees that are proud and stand erect are the first to fall when a storm strikes. Likewise, people who have exalted opinion of themselves can never make good leaders. Great leaders are those that have lofty aspirations, but small egos. • A successful leader is one who is bold, charismatic, intelligent, and decisive, but also humble. They are humility personified, those who do not let success go to their head. Humility is one of the most important leadership traits in the modern competitive business environment.

  4. A leader has to constantly mold themselves as according to the changing situations and circumstances. Arrogant leaders think they know all and do not value the opinions and suggestions of their subordinates. • Isolated in their own Ivory towers they fail to react properly to any contingency or emergency. Demotivated employees too are not willing to cooperate in a time of crisis. The end result is failed leader who is forced to quit and a bruised organization struggling to get back to its feet.

  5. Integrity and Honesty • Since childhood we have been hearing that honesty is the best policy. Nowhere has it seemed more important than the modern organization which has to deal with fickle minded consumers in an extremely competitive set up. • You cannot expect to fool all of the people all the time. Integrity has become a paramount concern of customers. Big firms like Enron and WorldCom thought they would be able to get away by cooking their books. In the end, it was proved that they were only riding a tiger. • A leader of dubious integrity is sure to take down the firm along with himself. Clients and stakeholders want nothing but absolute truth from the top management in every situation and circumstance. • They will not mind taking their business to some other organization if they have the slightest doubts about the honesty, truthfulness, and integrity of the leader.

  6. Good communication and Listening Skills • Good communication skills or the lack of it is the real differentiator between a great and an average leader. In fact it is almost impossible to become an exceptional leader without being an exceptional communicator. • History bears testimony to the fact that some of the greatest leaders of the world were also excellent communicators. These leaders were successful because their ideas and their vision managed to arouse the passions of the people. • Michael Dadoun, the CEO of UpClick, is an excellent listener and an exceptional communicator. He pays attention to what his subordinates are saying and values their opinions. • A superb communicator, Michael, understands that the entire communication exercise will be a waste if the message doesn’t take deep root with his employees.

  7. Great Leaders are True Visionaries • In this age of globalization and intense competition an organization simply cannot hope to succeed if it is led by a person who lacks vision. Powerful leaders have the ability to see beyond the obvious. • They have a clear idea about the present status of their organization as well as where they wish to see it in future. They have a clear concept of where they presently stand and where they are going. • Visionary leaders are able to comprehend what the customer will want and require in the future. A prime example here is the former CEO of Apple Corp. — Steve Jobs. He accurately anticipated the need of smartphones and turned Apple into one of the most valuable brands in the world. • Michael Dadoun is a visionary leader who possesses the unique ability to look ahead. He can predict with a good measure of accuracy as to where the market and industry are headed.

  8. Conclusion • “The mediocre teacher tells. The good teacher explains. The superior teacher demonstrates. The great teacher inspires.” ― William Arthur Ward • The above mentioned quotation holds absolutely true for Michael Dadoun, the CEO of Montreal based UpClick. He is an inspirational leader who exhibits the right attitude and confidence to get the best from his subordinates. • Michael Dadoun is a person whose exceptional listening abilities have greatly sharpened his observatory skills. He can truly and fully understand the moods, emotions, and concerns of his employees. • Armed with this knowledge he is in a better position to deal with the concerns and dynamics of his workforce. This produces a motivated workforce that is always willing to give the best to the organization.
