  2. Do you want to know him? • Knowing God is what we’re designed for. • Some people asked “How do I know Him more?” • Some people asked “How do I know Him more?” • First we’ll consider some negative things. Next week we’ll look at the real pursuit of God. • Can’t be half-hearted (Matthew 6:24)

Some verses on how Not to do it. • No formula or rules (Colossians 2:20-22) • No quick way (1 Corinthians 3:1-3) • Not through others (John 4:39-42) • Not in isolation (Ephesians 3:17-19, John 13:34-35) • Not about amassing knowledge (James 2:19) • Not from a position of power (2 Corinthians 4:7)
