  1. The aims of the programme • Explore pathways into: • Self employment • Start up business • With • 40 Camden residents • 16-24 • NEET • Offer pathways into apprenticeships, training and education

  2. Mission and purpose • Into enterprise will inspire, encourage and develop young entrepreneurs across the borough of Camden. We will provide an infrastructure to support the enterprise journey from pre business start ups to the launch of the business. • The Hub will operate as a base to enable traditionally disempowered young people to develop their own powerful networks. • The Hub will link to other enterprise centres, provide role models and peer mentors to guide and encourage new generations of young entrepreneurs. • Alongside the programme, Into Enterprise will offer links to apprenticeships, training and further and higher education.

  6. Outcomes • ‘The support has given me direction. I had the business idea for months but not really progressed with it, now we have all these suggestions such as pop up shops and stalls etc it has opened up so many options.’ • ‘Into Enterprise has made me feel important, because someone is remembering me. They are prepared to accommodate any idea, no matter how small or silly, they are always willing to help you.’ • ‘...it has been straightforward. Perfect. It is what it is.’ • ‘The project staff are always very helpful and I would like to single them out. Improving the programme More promotion “It’s not widely known and is more luck that I got involved.” Closer working with JCP “JCP need to be pushed to promote this, but then it depends on your Advisor.” Sharper definition of the Into Enterprise facilities “It does not feel like a dedicated business environment, as there is always lots of chaos being right by the college entrance.” The amount of space “there is a need for more space for workplaces, in its own building.” Shared intelligence Report 2013
