    3. Login account information Every teacher in ACS has an individual unique login account In 99% of the cases your curriculum mapper account is the exact same as your email username. Ex. jwhitley,cpuglici Every teachers password is “anderson” with all lower case letters excluding the “” If your account does not work or your username is not correct, the building level administrator has a username and password list that is provided by the OOT.

    4. Diary mapping copy process Login to curriculum mapper Click on maps then choose “my maps” Click on “copy map” in upper screen area The following screen should appear

    5. Copy Map Cont. Make sure that the 2007-2008 school year is selected and click “select”. Note: all master maps are listed under 2006-07 Click the master map that applies to the subject that you plan to diary map Click on “click here” to copy the map. Location is noted by red arrow below.

    6. Copy Map Cont. Make sure that the 2007-2008 school year is selected as this is the current school year in which you will diary map. Click copy to finish this process.

    7. Copy Map Cont. Notice that a list of the months copied from each master map is listed. Click on the blue hyperlink, noted by the arrow on the screenshot above, to return to the curriculum mapper homepage.

    8. Working with your diary map Login to curriculum mapper Click on maps then choose “my maps” A list of all maps that you have copied will appear in the list. A map for each subject/grade level that you teach should be listed. If this is not the case you need to complete the copy map process for each subject/grade level. NOTICE. Once the maps are copied to your “my maps”, they are YOUR property and should be updated with YOUR teacher/classroom specific information.

    9. Working with your diary map Ensure that the 2007-2008 year is selected and that the “month action” is set to edit for the course that you wish to map. Click the month of the course that you wish to begin diary mapping. A new explorer window should open with the map.

    10. Working with your diary map To begin the diary mapping process click the mouse on the red “S”, standard icon, in the skills column. This will put a series of boxes around the icon. The next step is to click on the “insert standards” icon. Note that the above screen capture shows the location of this icon on the toolbar.

    11. On this screen the associated standard should already have a check mark in the box. Simply choose the appropriate level of this skill, Introduced, Developed or Reinforced. Click on Attach Standards to save the skill level and return to the diary map. Once you are back at the diary map click on the save map button in the bottom left corner of the screen.

    12. Printing diary maps by month From the “my maps” section of curriculum mapper. Click on the “month action” drop down and change from edit to view. Click on the month of the diary map that you wish to print and the following screen should appear. Click print at the top of the screen to print this month of the diary map.

    13. Printing a 3 month zoom report Note: This report is mainly for Middle and High School teachers Click on Adv Features and choose reports. Choose the Three Month Zoom option Ensure that the 2007-08 school year and the month to start is selected. This can be any month during the school year. Select the Course and the report should run automatically with a print option in the upper toolbar of the screen.

    14. Printing a school snapshot report Note: This report is mainly for elementary teachers Click on Adv Features and choose reports. Choose school snapshot report Complete the fields selecting the following: the appropriate month, any subject area, 2006-07 school year, correct grade level and master maps only. Click the “get snapshot” button and the report will run.

    15. Document map searches Begin by clicking on maps, and choose search. At the keyword search screen, type in the keyword to search for, check the box for all schools in my district, select the 2006-07 school year, select the correct subject and grade and click the go search button.

    16. Document map searches The results page for a sample search is listed above. To see a graphical summary of the results simply click on the “chart these results” option.

    17. Global map searches Begin by clicking on maps, and choose global search. Complete the form on the screen, see below. Remember, the global search will yield results that are outside of ACS system.

    18. ACS procedures for weekly diary map updates Teachers should Diary Map each week, during their regular weekly lesson planning time. This method will keep our maps current. Please refer to your principal for complete procedures for your building.
