  1. African Choose Your Fate By Scott Brunelle & Nick Grauel

  2. Chapter 1 You are on a plane flight to a refugee camp in Darfur. You have volunteered to help out at a camp to provide aid to refugees. The plane ride is terrifying because last time you were on a plane, it was headed toward Iraq for your fourth tour of combat. You begin to suffer from crippling flashbacks, breaking into a cold sweat as you realize that you have left your meds back in the states. Hopefully nothing will set your flashbacks off.

  3. Chapter 2 The plane skids to a halt on the runway outside of the camp. You feel a little queasy but otherwise are okay. As you disembark from the plane you see many Darfurians living in mud huts and very few guards at the gates to the camp. Suddenly you hear trucks rumbling towards the camp. Run and hide in the woods. Run and hide in the camp

  4. Into the Woods As the trucks drive towards the camp you decide to run for it and go hide in the woods. As you duck down you hear gunfire and screaming. The soldiers seem not to have noticed you. You see that your plane is still on the runway, but you also seem to be well hidden. Run to your plane Stay hidden

  5. Run to your plane You decide that it would be safer to try to get to your plane and when the soldiers turn away you make a run for it. As you are about to climb in you hear gunfire and the plane explodes. Your last thoughts as you are engulfed by the explosion are: why didn’t I stay hidden? You are dead……. Good job.

  6. Stay hidden You decide to remain hidden deciding that running to the plane is to risky. Moments after you make your decision the plane explodes. You decide to wait until the Janjaweed have left. By the time they have left, night has fallen. You decide to see if anyone is still alive in the camp. As you enter the camp, a women cries out asking for help, she is covered in blood. Help the woman Don’t Help the Woman

  7. Help the woman You decide to help the woman. You bandage up her wounds, and find her some new clothes. After a day of helping her, she informs you that she has Aids. After a week of suffering you die a horrible death…..good going.

  8. Into the Camp As the trucks speed towards the camp you run inside the gates and look for a place to hide. Before you can find anywhere to stay hidden the trucks storm into the camp and several children armed with rifles jump out. They point their weapons at you and the refugees in the camp and order you to get to the ground. Fight back Surrender

  9. Fight back As the child soldier points his gun at you, you flashback to Iraq. Standing in front of you now is a Shiite rebel, you act quickly. You push the gun away, and punch the rebel in the face breaking his nose, you take his Ak-47 and kill him and then you turn the gun on his comrades and you kill them. You yell at every one to get to the trucks. You quickly speed away.

  10. Don’t Help the Woman • You decide you shouldn’t help her, and leave her there. You find a Ak-47 on the ground, you pick it up grab some ammo, you find a truck and speed away. Wondering what would have happened if you had helped the woman.

  11. A chase As you speed along a dirt road a light catches your eye. You realize its coming from behind you. You look behind the truck and realize that the Janjaweed are chasing you. Stop and fight back Speed up

  12. Stop and fight back You screech the truck to a halt, and jump out. Your eyes flash between Iraq and Darfur, you open fire on the Shiite rebels approaching by truck. The go down quick and easy, 20 now 30 dead, but they keep coming. A tank suddenly comes down the road…. Wait a minute Shiite rebels don’t have tanks. *BOOM* There’s a flash of light then nothing. Wow….. your bad at this game aren’t you?

  13. Speed up You decide the best option is to floor it and try to out run them. The truck begins to pick up speed, but their still gaining. 70, 71, 72, no good their still getting closer, 73, 74, oh crap you should have fought back. 75, 76, 77, you wish you could say goodbye to your loved ones. 78, 79, their right next to you, you’re a dead man. 80 suddenly in a flash of light, a sudden lurch, you find yourself in Algeria. Something doesn’t seem right though, you run to a calendar the year is 1955, you’ve gone back in time!!

  14. The streets of Algeria As you run through the streets doing your best to hide your Ak-47. Suddenly a police officer stops you asking you a question in French, the only word you catch is “Arab.” Shake your head yes Shake your head no

  15. Shake your head yes The police officer suddenly hits you in the back of the head. You get up a Shiite rebel is holding a pistol and handcuffs. You pull the Ak-47 out from under your coat, and open fire. The man’s eyes look surprised then they glaze over. Suddenly you realize that the enemy is everywhere, you crouch behind a wall and begin to open fire at them. When the battle is over, your flashback drifts away, you realize that all the Shiite rebels you had just killed were actually innocent French Algerians. However they were French so you don’t care. You steal the cop’s car and drive past some very confused Arabs, you figure they were the rebels.

  16. Shake your head no The police officer shakes his head and glares at you suspiciously mutters something in French and walks away. You’re tempted to shoot him because he’s French, however an Arab beats you to it as he walks up behind him and shoots him in the back of the head. You realize that the Arab was probably part of the FLN and decide that this probably isn’t a good place for an American, so you steal the Cop’s car and drive off.

  17. On the road again As you drive along you wonder if you can do that awesome time warp thing again. You speed up, and the car is going as fast as it can, however it’s a French car so it can’t go that fast. You suddenly come to a cliff, and because it’s a French car it couldn’t turn fast enough. Luckily you go through another time warp, and end up in Sierra Leone.

  18. Diamond Mine You arrive in a diamond mine, all the worker seem very surprised as though a car usually doesn’t pop out of nowhere in a tunnel. You drive out the tunnel grapping diamonds as you go. You notice that all the workers are very skinny, and look scared of your Ak-47. As you near the mouth of the tunnel, you see some armed soldiers blocking the tunnel. Drive thru Stop and talk

  19. Drive thru You speed up attempting to drive thru the guards. However your French car breaks about half-way to the end of the tunnel. The guards start to open fire on you. You have a flashback and grab your Ak-47 out of the back seat to fight off the insurgents you now see in front of you. Unfortunately you aren’t fast enough and are gunned down before you can duck. I can’t believe you let them kill you like that…. you know what I’m going to shoot you too. *BLAM* *BLAM* *BLAM*

  20. Stop and talk You stop the car and get out to explain your situation to the armed soldiers. After they hear you out, they chuckle a bit, then get you on a truck and send you to an airport. As you drift into a well deserved sleep, you see a man get his hands cut off.

  21. The Plane home As you prepare to depart, and head home and never return to this crazy continent. You realize that the nice people who helped you were rebel groups who sold diamonds to fund themselves. You feel bad about buying all those diamonds now, but you’re not going to return them. On the way home, you decide to join the army again; Iraq is much better than this place.
