  6. PURPOSE 3: Students will learn about programs: Microsoft Word, Powerpoint, etc.

  7. PURPOSE 4: To learn about features of the computer--keyboard, shortcuts, editing, cutting, pasting, importing clips & pictures.

  8. PURPOSE 5: To learn how to access & use the internet & varied websites to complete short or lengthy assignments.

  9. CLASSROOM COMPUTER RULE 1: Student may not use the computer without the teacher’s express permission or direction.

  10. CLASSROOM COMPUTER RULE 2: Student may not install or alter programs, files, display, or features of the classroom computer.

  11. CLASSROOM COMPUTER RULE 3: The computer is not a toy; students should be careful not to damage cords, mouse, screen, etc.

  12. CLASSROOM COMPUTER RULE 4: After completing an assignment by the teacher, student should yield to another student.
