  2. What’s Available • The goal of the Parent Resources is to support students in reading and math so that they can be prosperous in their classwork. There is an abundance of resources available for checkout so that you can work with your child at home!

  3. Reading Resources The resources we have for reading focus on four key areas of reading: • Letter names and sounds • Sight words students need to know automatically • Fluency-the ability to read out loud smoothly and with expression • Comprehension- the ability to read with understanding

  4. Math Resources • The resources we have for math focus on: • increasing students’ understanding of number • refining math fact fluency • refining problem solving skill
