  2. Pregnancy Nutrition: Foods To Avoid During Pregnancy Alcohol Raw Meat Unpasteurized Milk And Dairy Products Unwashed Vegetables Raw Eggs Or Undercooked Eggs Caffeine

  3. Raw MEAT Avoid raw meat, especially sausages or minced meat. Be careful to cook them thoroughly so there’s no trace of pink or blood. Although the risk is low, you may also prefer to avoid raw cured meat, such as Parma ham, chorizo, pepperoni and salami. It’s safest to eat well-cooked meat when you’re pregnant.

  4. SOCIAL MEDIA Unpasteurized milk may contain listeria. Make sure that any milk you drink is pasteurized. Pasteurization is the most effective way to kill any harmful bacteria, without changing the nutritional value of the products. To minimize the risk of infections, drink only pasteurized milk. Toxoplasmosis may contaminate the soil where the vegetables were grown. While you’re pregnant, it’s very important to minimize the risk of infection by thoroughly washing with water, peeling, or cooking fruits and vegetables.

  6. Raw eggs or any foods that contain raw eggs should be avoided because of the potential exposure to salmonella. Some homemade Caesar dressings, mayonnaise, homemade ice cream or custards, and Hollandaise sauces may be made with raw eggs. It’s important that any eggs you eat are cooked until the yolks and whites are solid all the way through.
