  2. Our Mission Crossfire Volleyball Club strives to empower young athletes with a commitment for developing leadership, sportsmanship and athletic performance in competition and in our community.

Our Vision To create an athletic program that: Provides a safe and nurturing environment for young athletes to grow Develops young athlete’s leadership skills by providing opportunities to lead Develops sportsmanship by demonstrating positive attitudes towards team members and other institutions Develops fundamental skills in order to succeed in athletic competition

  4. Our Philosophy Crossfire's philosophy provides opportunities for players to succeed based upon their strengths. We teach focus and discipline and the importance of team play. We believe that our players can achieve success by being on the court and getting touches on the ball in game situations.

After identifying a need for competitive volleyball in Cherokee County, Joe Auriemma Established Crossfire in 2010. 2010-2011: 4 Teams (12Uto 15U) 2011-2012: 8 Teams (12Uto 16U) 2012-2013: 12 Teams (12Uto 17U) 2013-2014: 11 Teams (12Uto 17U) 2014-2015: 13 Teams (11U to 18U) 2015-2016: 17 Teams (11U to 18U) This season, we are prepared to carry 20 teams with players from ages 9 to 18 (11U to 18U) Our History

  6. 2016: 13 Third Degree earned Gold Championship at Lil’ Big South 2016: 17 Third Degree earned Gold at NAVC Pre-BSQ 2016: 15 Third Degree earned Gold Championship at Battleground Explosion 2016: 18 Hybrid earned Gold at Peachtree Classic 2016: 18 Hybrid Doubles Sand wins bid to AAU’s in Hermosa, CA 2016: 15 AAU Team John Edwards won their final bracket 2016: 14-2 wins Silver at Southern Youth Festival 2015: 14 Third Degree earned Silver at Regionals in Power Division 2015: 15 Blaze earned Silver at Regionals in Club Division 2015: 4 Teams finished in top 3 at Lil’ Big South 2015: 16 Third Degree earned Gold at Icebreaker 2014: Top 14 Club in Georgia (33 Clubs total) 2014: 15 Smack earned Silver at Regionals in Club Division 2010-2016: Numerous Championships and High Finishes at Tournaments (See ‘Club Info’ and ‘Accomplishments’ on our website). 2016 online scheduling and payments, COMING Spirit wear website!   7. ‘The game teaches the game’…drills that resemble game play will be primarily used for training Our training is based upon physio-kinetics of the body…volleyball will be taught by simplifying the skills based upon the natural movement of the body Statistical analysis of ball movement and ball placement is the basis for our system of training Standard terms are used across the club for training purposes: wrist in hands, elbow high, arch back, etc. Individual ball control skills will be encouraged outside of practice to reinforcement development Our system

  8. SPARK VBT What is SparkVBT? "Spark" Volleyball Training. Coach Jeff Black created training programs that offers small and large group sessions, individualized or prep for upcoming club tryouts.   14. Hybrid Crossfire Volleyball Club will continue it's hybrid program for the 2016-2017 Season. The program will expand and include ages 14U though 18U. This unique opportunity offers players a combination of traditional court Club Volleyball in conjunction with Beach Volleyball. The practices for this program will take place at Blitz, 500 East Rope Mill Road, Canton and will include a variation of beach and indoor training.

  15. Recruiting Coach Kate Link and Jeff Black will be working with players 15 & Up to discuss college recruiting options. Players will fill out a recruiting survey and they will work with getting the players profiles set up and work with parents as well to understand the process. volleyrecruits.net.
