TFLx Briefing • SmarTrip Metrics: • Continues to prove popular with customer base • Over 2.5 million cards sold since 1999 • Approximately 50% active in last 6 months • Dispensers in rail system – 80% of card sales • Card sales by month: • June: 54,500, July: 56,400, August: 55,580 • Market penetration • Rail – 63% overall; higher in peak periods • Bus – 21%; slow growth overall; some routes >90% • Parking – 100%, exclusive method to pay at most locations • 98% at 6 locations where credit card payment available
